2024 DIGICEL EXXONMOBIL CUP ROUND 5 TO BE COMPLETED TODAY
The completion of Round 5 of the 2024 Digicel ExxonMobil Cup will be played out today in as the postponed match between West New Britian Provincial Government Kimbe Cutters and Moni Plus NCDC Port Moresby Vipers will take place in Port Moresby at 2pm. As the match was postponed from the weekend in Kimbe, it will be a closed event today in Port Moresby.
The Papua New Guinea National Rugby League Competition (PNGNRLC) would like to thank both clubs for their understanding and support to enable Round 5 to be completed despite ongoing air travel challenges.
Pathways and Performance General Manager Mr Tony Archer said, “It’s unfortunate we were left with no alternative but to postpone the match to today. PNGNRLC aims to get the match played as soon as possible.”
“PNGNRLC has been working hard to get that done, understanding the challenges we are facing. We extend our thanks and support to all clubs, our Board, sponsors and partners for their support and understanding,” Archer said.
